(Image from here)

Oh my goodness! I can't believe I've kept this blog going for a whole year.
and people actually read it

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you
I really couldn't have done it without you all

I'm planning on sticking around but it might take me a moment or so to work out which direction to go next.

after I've finished with the recaps of course

See you on the other side

So lovely readers this is me signing off until after the wedding. Thank you for keeping me company on this crazy journey.

I suspect I won’t be able to resist a hop on to twitter every now and again. (I'm only private on twitter to prevent spammers so just ask)

Ideas on a post card please

O’s Dad is a jack-of-all-trades. However, his skill lies is woodwork – detailed woodwork. We have asked him to make us a special box that we will use for our wedding photos. We will also use the box to keep our guest messages in. We are supplying our guests with pens and reference cards and hope that they will write us a message of good luck. We need some sort of sign that tells them what the deal is i.e. take a card and write us a message. But I’m not sure how to write the sign.
The best I’ve come up with so far is, which we might go with is:

“Guest Book – sort of” or maybe "take a card and write us a message"

Do you have any ideas or have you seen any inspiration? I don’t particularly want a long explanation just something reasonably short and snappy.

Thank you!

Thank you

(from here via here)

I just wanted to say thank you to all those who commented on this post.
I love the fact that I can ask your opinions.
Especially when I'm doing my own head in.

Odds and Sods from this weekend

A huge thank you to Gaynor from Our Day by Design for my first blog award. I'm working on my list of 10 things and trying to narrow down the list of blogs to tag.

Woop woop Go O!!! O plays a very random sport which no one has ever heard of, I'm not even going to try to explain it as it'll take to long and it'd mess with my anonymity. Anyway this weekend he was selected to play for Scotland at the Euro Championships - I'm really pleased for him.

My parents came to visit this weekend, this is the first time I've seen them since we got engaged so it was lovely. We went out for a fabulous meal on Saturday night and then last night we went to see the Big Yin in Edinburgh. He was hilarious - absolutely fantastic.

My parents and I looked at a couple of venues this weekend (just an initial outside looksee, O was busy being selected for Scotland at the time). So far our only priority is the size of the dance floor, it has to be big enough for a decent ceilidh. Any ideas in central Scotland?
