He sheds nuts and bolts randomly** all over our home.
Thankfully he isn't broken despite missing all these bits.

Did you ever see the movie "The Iron Giant"? I think it's based on this book. If you haven't, you should. It's fantastic. Yes, it's a cartoon, but it makes me smile every time I see it.
