Should you blog about love?

I was reading Glamour on the train this weekend and among their survey results I saw this:

Should you blog about love? 69% of Glamour readers say no

Hmmmm considering I'm blogging about my wedding, love tends to have a way of creeping in - or why the hell am I putting myself through this?

O knows about the blog and although I don't check what I post by him, if he didn't like what I wrote it would come down immediately. I'm pretty sure I know O's boundaries well enough to know what he would and wouldn't be happy about me making public.

Do you have any such concerns? Do your posts impact your relationship at all?

  1. I've never really thought about this one way or another. I figured its my blog and I can write about what I want. Like you, I feel like I know Mr. Milk's boundaries well enough and if in doubt I'd ask for his opinion. There is some anonymity with a blog too. I will disagree with the Glamour readers, especially since I enjoy reading others stories

  2. Concerns about anonymity - yes. And if people do not want to read how and why I love my boy then don't read my blog!?

I love reading about love, but then I'm an old softie!

How else do you write about a wedding?!

  3. I feel a little crazy to be putting my photos out on the web, more than my thoughts. I worry that someone I know will read my blog. How weird is that. Strangers - no worries, Real friends - please don't read!

But I figured I will want to share my wedding photos, so why not photos now. Too late!
