Today we took our marriage notice forms to the registrar*.
There was confetti on the floor outside.
I grinned quite a bit.
*we happened to be helped by the registrar who will marry us. That was a bizarre feeling - meeting the woman who will marry us, eek.

It does make it feel a little more exciting. We had to go and get our a year before our date.

ReplyDeleteYippee! Sorry I've been remiss in commenting but so pleased the fitting went well. And I too get on well with my Mother-in-Law. Right now anyhow... Who knows how the relationship might change if we ever have kids. Which she is desperate for but that's another post one day!
