Our weekend

Our weekend started with some good news. When we were given our wedding date we weren't sure that one of O's best friends would be able to attend. However we learnt at the weekend that he is able to attend which we are really pleased about.

Other than that our weekend looked like this:

We went to Edinburgh so that O could look for a jacket to go with his kilt. I was a little put out that I had to go with him as he never came dress shopping with me but apparently it is different and I should stop moaning.

We went to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. I think I can cope without films in 3D, 2D is enough for me as my head was starting to hurt by the end of it. Our general opinion of the film was that it was very good however not great and did not really live up to the hype which I think maybe the problem for more and more of Tim Burton's films.

Sunday we drove north and east to see friends and headed to Broughty Ferry for some ice-cream.

All in all a very pleasant couple of days.

    Glad you had a good weekend, I went with Graham to pick his kilt too!

    we tried suit shopping this weekend.. but it turned into jean and shoe shopping.. hey ho - must make a proper effort to actually suit shop next time.

    Hopefully we'll see alice in wonderland this week. I am fairly sceptical though.. but I think it's one to make the effort (and pay the dosh) to go to.

    I also had to accompany IB kilt shopping, I dread to think what might have happened if I hadn't! I liked Alice in Wonderland, but 3D makes my eyes hot.

    @Katie - No he hasn't seen my dress he has some bizarre old fashioned notion that he wants to see me walk down the aisle for the first time (it is a little romantic I suppose). I didn't enjoy the dress shopping process because I couldn't ask O's opinion.

    no my man totally does not want to know ANYTHING about my dress. really traditional. anna - we didn't talk to eachother for 2 hours because of shoes....SHOES.
